CS:GO Inferno Wallbang Locations Guide

Valve’s Inferno rework is pretty new to the active map pool, but that hasn’t stopped the pros picking it at recent tournaments, and we’ve already seen some modern classics played out on its brightly tiled streets. If you want to really excel on the revamped Inferno, though, then you’ll need to master its less obvious depths, including all the best Inferno wallbang locations. Good thing we’ve got you covered.

Terrorist wallbangs

Logs to Corner of Banana

Logs to Corner of Banana

Head to Banana and walk to the left of the logs. Walk to the pillar and push into the corner. Spin around to face the top of Banana. Keep your back close to the wall and edge right until the right edge of the top row of logs is in line with the grey wall beyond. There’s a vertical scratch in the middle of the top row of logs. To the right of this is a smaller pale mark. Line your crosshair above this mark and drag it right until it’s in line with the edge of the logs below, then fire. This will take out any CTs lurking on the corner.

Ruins to Box

Ruins to Box

CTs covering B often wait behind the box at the fountain because they think they’re safe, so this is a great place to clear first if you’re trying to clutch. From the bottom of the box, count two sections up. The line above can be shot through horizontally, all the way along, so even if you’re not sure exactly where the CT is, sending a few shots could scare them into the open or even injure or kill them. The beauty of this wallbang is that you won’t be anywhere near Banana, so the CT will have no idea where they are being shot from.

Deck to Top of Banana

Deck to Top of Banana

Head over to Deck and stand so you see the flower pot in front of you and the bench directly to the right of it. Walk between the flower pot and the railing, spin your crosshair to face the curtained window on your right and crouch. Scope in and line up your crosshair with the wiggly line of light on the curtain, then drag it to the right side. Scope in again so you can see the curtain detailing. Just above the line of light, you should be able to see a line curling upwards and then a small dash in the shape of a comma. Rest your crosshair on the bottom of the comma and drag it right to where the edge of the curtain reaches the wall. Move your crosshair one tiny vertical line inwards and shoot to take out the CT at the top of Banana.

Bedroom to Halls (Apartments)

Bedroom to Halls (Apartments)

Make your way into the safety of Bedroom. Head to the corner of the room next to the window, opposite the radio, and push into the corner. Spin your crosshair around and crouch to face the radio. Line your crosshair with the top-right corner of the black rectangle on the radio and drag it to be in line with the space just above the drawers on the dresser to your left. Short, controlled sprays here with an AK will take out any CTs that decide to push into the halls. However, this will also give away your position so keep this in mind and maybe drop down from the balcony for a quick escape, if this doesn’t work out.

Counter-Terrorist wallbangs

Corner of Banana to Logs

Corner of Banana to Logs

From Bombsite B, walk to the corner of Banana opposite the sandbags. On the side of the building, under the window to your right, you’ll notice slabs of concrete. Count three slabs in from the corner and position yourself on the right edge of the third slab. Now spin your crosshair to face Banana. Line up the edge of the yellow wall on your right with the grey wall ahead so there’s no longer a gap between them. Scope in and look at the exposed bricks on the yellow wall – you should see five bricks clustered together. Place your crosshair halfway down on the second brick and drag it over to the grey wall. At the top of the wall, you’ll notice three thin black lines. Move your crosshair so it’s slightly to the right of the third black line and shoot. If you line this up, you’ll take out the T behind the logs with a headshot.

Construction to Box (Bombsite B)

Construction to Box (Bombsite B)

Walk over to Construction, hop up next to the sandbags on the right and push up against the wall. Walk towards the pipes and get as close as you can while still remaining pushed up against the wall. Now look at the stained-glass window. On the pane closest, look at the big green shard. To the left of this is a smaller, orange shard with a pale pink shard below it. Aim just on the thin grey line separating the orange and pink shards to take out the T hiding behind the box on Bombsite B. It’s not a clean one-shot but you should do 95 damage with the AWP per shot.

Bedroom to Halls (Apartments)

Bedroom to Halls

This wallbang is similar to the T-sided one listed above. Head into Apartments and push all the way into Bedroom. Walk into the corner of the room, next to the window and opposite the radio. Spin your crosshair around and crouch to face the radio. Line up your crosshair with the top-right corner of the black rectangle on the radio and drag it up so that it’s in line with the space just above the drawers on the dresser to your left. Wait until you hear the Ts walking down the hall towards Bombsite A and then begin spraying the wall ahead with the M4A4. Spraying here will take out the Ts lurking in Halls while keeping you reasonably safe. At worst, if this spray doesn’t kill it will push the T onto the Bombsite instead, where a team mate can finish them off.

Box (Bombsite A) to Apartments

Box (Bombsite A) to Apartments

Make your way to Bombsite A and stand by the first box on your right (it has an up arrow painted on the side). Push into the corner between the box and the wall and jump up onto the box so you’re standing right on the edge of it. Turn to face Apartments and focus on the shuttered window. Rest your crosshair on the bottom-left corner of the shutter and fire short sprays with the M4. Shooting here will take out any Ts that are about to enter the Bombsite from Apartments.

Halls (Apartments) to Entrance to Apartments

Halls (Apartments) to Entrance to Apartments

Enter Apartments and run down the hall until you reach the second arched window on your left. Move in closer to the wall and peek through the railings until you can see the door. The railings split the area into several pieces. To land this shot, you’ll want to position the door handle in the fifth section from the right. Scope in and shoot at the door handle to take out the Ts entering Apartments.
