Cobble has a number of boost spots that are particularly useful when you’re on CT side. Whether you’re sneaking behind enemy lines or keeping the bombsites clear, you’ll want a reliable teammate by your side to get the job done.
Lower Tunnel to Upper Tunnel
Head to Lower Tunnel and stand underneath the Upper Tunnel window.
Player boosting: Just below Upper Tunnel you’ll see a wooden palette on its side, leaning against the wall. Jump onto the crate and walk forward until you’re pressed against the wall. Hold crouch so your teammate can jump onto your back. Release crouch so your teammate can jump and stand on your shoulders.
Wait here until your teammate decides what to do. In some instances, it may be safe for your teammate to push into Upper Tunnel and take out a few Ts from behind. In this case, you can exit Lower Tunnel and find another spot to hold on Bombsite B. However, if it turns out the Ts are already in Upper Tunnel, your teammate may just want to boost, shoot and then drop back down to safety.
Player being boosted: Follow the booster. Once they are crouched, jump onto their back, then jump so they can stand up. You should now be standing on their shoulders and will be able to see into Upper Tunnel. If Ts are already there, you may want to attempt to take them out while standing on your teammate, but this is quite a dangerous move. Alternatively, if you think it’s safe, jump (while holding crouch) into Upper Tunnel and walk around to try to eliminate Ts from behind. You’ll want to hold Shift while doing this to avoid drawing too much attention to yourself – this may be your chance to get a knife kill!
Tree to B Platform
Go to Bombsite B and stand near the tree surrounded by the cobbled walls.
Player boosting: Walk up to the tree so that you’re standing parallel to T Main. Stand on the stone platform behind the tree and crouch. Hold it until your teammate is on your back, then release it so they can stand and jump onto the tree platform. Once they’re standing behind the tree, move away to hold another angle elsewhere on the bombsite.
Player being boosted: Once your team-mate is crouched, jump onto their back. Jump once again to stand on their shoulders and then jump while holding crouch to reach the tree platform. Use the tree for cover while you watch B Platform. We recommend standing on the right side, just behind the tree while you scope in on the corner of B Platform ahead. The Ts won’t expect you to be standing in this position so you’ll have a decent advantage over them.
Statue to B Platform
This boost is quite similar to the previous one, but it requires your teammate to stay with you. Head to Bombsite B and walk over to the statue in the middle of the bombsite.
Player boosting: Walk up to the statue and jump onto the circular platform that surrounds it. Crouch on the right side so you’re completely covered by the statue. You should just be able to see the door on B Platform diagonally opposite you on the right. Hold crouch so your teammate can hop onto your back. You can either remain crouched or stand for this boost. Do not move until your teammate has jumped down onto the floor again.
Player being boosted: Approach the statue and jump onto your teammate’s back. You can either jump once more to stand on their shoulders and then crouch, or remain as you are; you want as little of your head to be visible as possible. You should find yourself next to the statue’s right leg. Try to use the leg for cover while you scope in on the corner of B Platform and be prepared to take out any Ts that try to push onto the bombsite from that entry point.
Bombsite A to Underpass
Ts will be used to CTs watching Underpass, but they won’t always check this spot. Make your way to Bombsite A and stand behind the wall on the left of the tree opposite Underpass.
Player boosting: Walk into the corner, where the two walls meet and crouch. Remain crouched while your teammate stands on your back and tries to pick off the Ts in Underpass.
Player being boosted: Walk forward and jump on your teammate’s back. Peak over the wall to face Underpass and scope in on the doorway. Watch for any Ts trying to walk through it, and you should be able to pop them before they realise where you’re shooting from. Be aware that some Ts may try to sneak up A Ramp, though. To ensure this doesn’t happen, you can also stand on your teammate’s back to see more of the area below. However, this will expose more of your body and consequently put you in more danger.
